You are the artist.
When drawing with pencil, your lines detail textures, colors, and values that show your zeal and zip. Penciled lines show us how you the artist want us to zoom and zip into to observe a visual story you design, your style.
Your lines take us to optical, visual places.
Remember, anything can make a line on any surface: a line in art, a line in a novel, and a sentence written or spoken, a path we journey, a river, links on the computer, the way a tree grows, the way we live; all are lines. We as artists make paths for the viewers to follow. We craft lines.
ASSIGNMENT for Z: Never, ever surrender your creative endeavor. Love what you do, accept, trust, and show your art, which is part of your life. Beware, your art will grow and bloom with many flowers!
To leave a photo of your work which I will post on this blog. Include the letter, Z. Leave a message on this website, and I will send my email address.
Also, any comments, suggestions, other observations, or ideas are welcome. Art is to share; we are all artists and creative.
