Acrylics at Oakland Art Camp

Oakland Feather River Camp at Quince, CA,  my two acrylic paintings, June 2016.                                             

Durning June each year, Feather River Art Camp by Quincy, CA provides arts and crafts and an art show for artists. During the week we sleep in tents or rustic cabins and eat in a cafeteria and attend various workshops. This is a camp I attended on Acrylics. We have fun, create, and socialize; all focused on art.

For you!

Simple. sweet, and to the point --> abundance, prosperity, and health in the new year.

Paper Making

Paper Making with Linda Lemon at Oakland Art Camp at Feather River, Quincy, CA.  First, I make the papers; second, after the paper dried with a bit of water spray I formed into the flowers; third, and glued the flowers onto a piece of white paper.

Book Making

Hi, this was at Oakland Art Camp Feather River Camp at Quincy, CA, June of 2016,  book making made simple.

First SURPRISE from cut paper

At last, with the improvements of the web have made the cut-paste illustations into a book for preview. Plan to send to friends as a birthday card!  Will tell where you can find and buy for your friend soon!  Maybe a small video will do. Need to study more. Joyous Flow

This was my first ART Show in year 1990, WOW! This show was in a friend's backyard 28 years ago.

So in 2018 I had another Art Show --> 
Visual Memiors, showing a life's of work of paintings, drawings, published and hand made books, gardening, and storytelling. That means, I have come full circle from loving art as a child, studying writing as an adult, storytelling as a senior, and gardening as my 'hobby', to finishing as a creative elder.  Art is the process!  The reward is the doing, feeling, seeing, the awareness of knowing impression or abstract expressing in play, while living as a daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, and friend with all the in-betweens.

Here is storyteller Sodie telling a story, which has the children of the farm involved and motivate. The parents are delighted until their children slowly disappear.  Will Sodie be able to get the children back to the farm?
